No idea what the X-factor is but its decent Duck Tape (quack). I may be old school but if I need to fix anything I may still use the silver kind, but this is still nice to have for decoration. It is regular Duck Tape (quack) just orange instead. All in all its a good product.

My primary use for a label printer is to mark wires in industrial electrical cabinets. I need the type of label where the text is printed repeatedly perpendicular to the label direction, then wrapped around the wire. (NOT the "flag" type where the label is just folded in half over the wire.) This type of application requires the nylon cloth tape, which is available for most brands of label makers.
I had previously used a Brady IDpal, which had some advantages but was not very reliable. After comparing and reading reviews for the Rhino 5200 and Brother P-touch units, I decided to purchase the Rhino 5200. In short, I was disappointed in the wire wrap capability of the Rhino and ended up returning it. The literature claimed that it would print labels for wires as small as 22awg (which I often use), but I came to find out that the shortest wire wrap label it will print is 1-1/4" long. Why on earth would you need 1-1/4" of label to wrap around a wire only 1/16" in diameter... Read more

This model is heavier, more uncomfortable to hold, and less user friendly than the IDpal. The included cassette jammed when I was testing it. And then cracked when I tried to remove it. The label cutters are more difficult to use and lead to partially cut labels, which caused the jam.
And the caps button was designed by some one who never used a labeler! Since you can only print a label in one size font per label, the caps/font size button design is asinine! I sometimes print 20 labels with the exact same size font. But I capitalize the first letter of each word! Which means many more keystrokes!!! Stupid, stupid, stupid design.
EDIT: I'm returning this. I just ordered a Dymo labeler. I'm done with Brady.

Normally I don't review accessories such as these, but it really makes a huge difference with all the crazy different power adapters I have. If you think you don't, remember the chargers for your digital camera or NiMH AA charger.
Most modern compact battery chargers tend to fall out of most power sticks. For example, a AA charger or for your digital camera. Instead, you can angle them at 45 degrees so they will rest on the shelf or floor and not budge. Also, a portable wifi can also sit at an angle, rather than just popping out under its weight. The big adapters are additional supported by other cables that you may run horizontally. Check out the picture I posted to see what I mean.
Every other power stick would only have 1/3 of its plugs usable; not only that, but they would fall out too easily. Not with this belkin.

I've used cheap surge protectors only for the fact that I don't have enough outlets. When I heard that a friend blew out all his home theater devices with a lightning strike, I figured I should invest in a good one. The ones I already had are 6-8 outlets, but not all plugs are the same. Sometimes a plug will take two spots instead of one for some proprietary design. Since Amazon has everything, I searched and found the Belkin Surge Protector. Now I am a bit impressed with a "Surge Protector", of all things.
Basically it is one strong unit that has twelve (12) outlets. Eight (8) of these are flexible/rotating for those odd-ball plugs. On one Belkin, I was able to connect my Television, Receiver, DVD players (2), Satellite Television box, multiple CD Player/Changer, a Light fixture, a Satellite Speaker Transmitter, and two Sub-woofers.
